agentcampbell: (Happy [Grass])
This is x-posted from my other pup's journal ([livejournal.com profile] chasemd) as I'm too stunned to try and be anymore creative in my thanks! The thanks spans to all three of my pups, so I thought x-posted was defintely necessary.

Sections One and Two of [livejournal.com profile] the_bigtammys...

I'm literally just effing speechless. Thank you so much to whoever nommed Chase and his fellow pups that share my brainspace ([livejournal.com profile] agentcampbell, [livejournal.com profile] justwilson and [livejournal.com profile] imtoosexy).

Also for nomming those he (or fellow pups) consider "family", including (of course) [livejournal.com profile] justalilcontact, [livejournal.com profile] allison_md, [livejournal.com profile] drcampbell, [livejournal.com profile] doctortara, [livejournal.com profile] hrtsevrytime, [livejournal.com profile] canmakeufeel, [livejournal.com profile] dontdotricks, [livejournal.com profile] isabelowens, [livejournal.com profile] emsdnifelbourt, [livejournal.com profile] pinkmagnifique, [livejournal.com profile] gotvicodin, [livejournal.com profile] dean_ofmedicine and [livejournal.com profile] cutthroatbitch.

Chase is telling me that everyone needs to spread the love! (I'm not sure when he turned into a hippie flower child - he must need to get laid). There are also SO MANY other people on Chase's f-list who he has chatted to or knows via Rogue and I just want to congratulate them all. I really want to list them all, but I haven't had breakfast, so please excuse the low blood sugar squeeing. The noms are well-deserved! CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!

A BIG EDIT: Section Three has just gone up and my tongue has officially stopped working. All I have left to say is - O.M.F.G
agentcampbell: (Drink)
James flashed the barman a slight smile as a second watered down Scotch with Diet Coke was place in front of him on a clean napkin. The man pushed the dish of peanuts towards James, but James just selected one to play with, rolling it back and forth on the bar in front of him as he stared lazily at the football game on the television behind the bar. He'd never been much into sports, but it was better than nothing.

Work had been hard, but its how James preferred it. It had been a week since the disastrous night at his parents; the night the video of David came to light and Isabel disappeared from the scene without a word. James was mostly numb to her reaction, not really sure how to take it so he just ignored it. The day after it happened, he'd called in sick to work with no explanation to anyone and merely told Pierce he wasn't well and couldn't make it. The day after, he was back on duty and avoided any and all questions about his health. Since then, he'd been all systems go professionally and it was almost like it hadn't happened. His family were much the same, receiving no real confirmation from James if he was okay. Mark kept trying to get James to come see him but consistently kept getting told his little brother was 'too busy'. There wasn't anything behind, James just didn't want to talk about it.

He now sat in McGovern's, a great little pub just a block away from HQ that was a favourite unwinding location for James and Izzy's work mates. It wasn't often James went alone but tonight he just felt like a drink before heading home to bed.
