She'd moved to have a shower, but now she was intent on just crawling under the covers and not surfacing for a very long time. Only she had work, and work would have this way of dragging her out of bed and away from Campbell.

She turned her head to look at the man next to her, and smiled. She wasn't about to bring up the fact that they'd told each other how they felt. Not yet. She was just glad he was there. She didn't want to be alone, not right now. "Hey, loser," she murmured.
